ACM40418 Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing is a nationally accredited course and upon completion you will be considered a qualified veterinary nurse in Australia.

You may be eligible to enrol in this qualification under the Higher Level Skills funding program.
The Higher Level Skills program is a Queensland Government initiative. It offers funded training for qualifications identified as providing high level skills, meeting employment and business demands in priority industries.

Students can only receive access to the Higher Level Skills program subsidy once, so before you enrol, make sure you have considered your options before committing to this course.

While the program is subsidised, the student is still required to pay a co-contribution fee. This fee can be paid by the student, their employer, or a third party.
The total cost of the program is $3150 for non-concessional students, or $1869 for concessional students. Eligibility for concession includes:

To enrol in Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, students are required to be working as a veterinary nurse for a minimum of 8 hours per week in paid employment. Employment must be maintained for the duration of the course. If the student changes workplaces, a “Change of details” form is available online, on the course website.
